We are now looking for an Electronic Design Engineer for our design department!

We are now seeking an Electronic Design Engineer with experience in embedded systems and industrial-grade design – a key person who wants to help develop robust, high-quality products from idea to production.

About the role

As an electronic design engineer, you will work through the entire development chain – from requirements analysis and concept development to design, verification, and handover to production. You will have a varied role where you combine electronics design, embedded programming, and system integration.

You will be an important part of cross-functional teams and contribute both technically and strategically to the development projects.

Examples of tasks

• Design and development of electronics for new products and prototypes

• System integration between mechanics and electronics

• Schematic design, PCB layout, and BOM management

• Implementation and testing of embedded software (C/C++)

• Driver development for sensors and communication interfaces

• Testing and verification of hardware and software

• EMC analysis and improvements in design

• Production support and testing strategies for the introduction of new circuit boards

• Development of test fixtures for circuit boards, modules, and end products

• Documentation of design, test results, and technical specifications

• Participate in customer and sales meetings and support with cost calculations in the quote process

• Design for assembly and manufacturing

Technical skills

We prefer that you have experience in:

Electronics design and embedded systems. Knowledge in the area of EMC, productization, and prototyping for manufacturability is a merit.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you are systematic and meticulous in both design and documentation. A skilled problem solver who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. You are independent and driven, with the ability to maintain focus on the big picture. You likely have a degree from a university or college with a technical orientation. You are fluent in both English and Swedish.
